Meet Piye Studio

PiyeStudioiswhereyouhandworktoagentsandwatchitgetdone.Giveeachagentatask,ononeprojectorten,andtheyworksidebysidewhileyoustayincharge.

It runs on your own Mac, next to your files. When an agent finishes, you see exactly what it changed and keep it, undo it or review it file by file.

Made for

  • Founders with many projects
  • Agencies
  • Developers who delegate
  • Busy teams
Several agents on several projects at once.A calm, focused agent window.

What itcan do.

08 things Piye Studio does for you, in plain words.

  • 01Many agents at onceSeveral agents on several projects, each with its own task and progress.
  • 02See everythingEvery agent's step, from reading to done, at a glance in the sidebar.
  • 03Calm when you focusOpen one agent and get a quiet window with just the conversation and the work.
  • 04Review every changeKeep all, undo all, or review the changes file by file.
  • 05Pick the model and effortChoose the model and how hard it thinks, or leave it on Auto.
  • 06Bring your chatsImport conversations from Claude Code, Cursor and Codex and carry on.
  • 07Start in one clickStarter tasks for the jobs you do most, ready on the home screen.
  • 08On your MacAgents work on this Mac, next to your projects.

Underthe hood.

Simple on the surface. Serious technology underneath, so what you make is real.

01Parallel agentsEach agent runs on its own, so one slow task never holds up the rest.
02Live progressEach agent reports its step as it goes: reading, planning, editing, checking, done.
03Change reviewEvery edit is tracked, so nothing lands without your say.
04Local firstYour projects stay on your machine, not on our servers.
How a task runs

Hand it over.Stay in charge.

The home screen asks What should Piye do? From there, every task follows the same five steps.

  1. 01Pick the projectIts branch, and where it runs: This Mac, or a repository from GitHub.
  2. 02Set the agentThe mode (Build, Ask, Architect or Debug), the model, and how hard it thinks.
  3. 03Describe the taskIn your own words, or start from one of the ready-made tasks.
  4. 04Watch it workEach chat shows its progress in the sidebar, so you can follow several at once.
  5. 05Review and commitSee every change, undo what you don't want, and commit on the project's branch.
Ready-made starts

The jobs you domost, one click away.

On the home screen, ready to go. Each one starts a chat in the project you picked.

  • 01Explain this projectHow it's put together, and where to start.
  • 02Fix what's brokenFind the errors and fix them.
  • 03Review my changesWhat changed and what could break, like a pull request review.
  • 04Plan a featureDesign, files, risks and a test plan, before any code.
  • 05Map the architectureThe project's parts and how they connect.
  • 06Triage failing checksRun the type check, lint, tests and build, and sort out what fails.
  • 07Cover the changes with testsWrite tests for the code you just changed.
Inside the window

Every project.Every chat.

Where Code is one project with an editor, Studio is all your projects with their chats. It is a window of the same app, so it shares Code's agent, settings and keys.

01

The Agents sidebar

Every project you've opened in Piye, each with its chats and its agent. New chat starts one in that project; Add a project brings in another folder.

  • Progress on every chat while its agent works
  • A default project, for chats where you don't pick one
02

Review changes

For each chat, the diff in four views: Last Agent Turn, Uncommitted, Staged and Unstaged. Undo a file, or put everything back as it was before the chat.

  • Keep All, Undo All, or Review file by file
  • The commit bar commits on the project's branch
  • Write the message from the chat: it starts as what you asked
03

Side panels

Each project's source control, tests, Operations and live files, beside the conversation.

04

Skills

The project's skills, Piye's built-in ones and those installed from OXP. Switch them on or off per project, or create a new one by naming it and saying when to use it.

05

Bring your chats

Import conversations from Claude Code, Cursor and Codex. Each is saved as a Piye chat in its own project, so the agent picks up where that tool left off. The originals stay where they are.

06

One agent per project

Each project has one agent at a time, so two chats never edit the same files at once. If a project's agent is busy in another chat or window, Studio says so, and your message waits.

Same rules as Code

Fast hands,firm rules.

Studio runs the Code agent, with everything that keeps it safe.

  • 01Review or AutoIn Review, each file change and command waits for your Accept. In Auto, they land as they come, each with an Undo.
  • 02Dangerous always waitsGit push, deploys, rm and sudo, secret files and anything that can delete database data wait for your click, in every mode.
  • 03Commands in a sandboxThe agent's commands write only inside the project, and never read where your computer keeps its secrets.
  • 04Secrets stay secret.env files are read as names only. Keys live in your computer's secure storage.
  • 05Rules and memoryThe agent reads each project's rules and keeps its notes in that project's .piye folder, on your computer.
  • 06Your modelsClaude, GPT, Gemini, Grok and Mistral on Piye credits or your own keys, and local models with Ollama.
Questions

Goodquestions.

Is Piye Studio a separate app?

No. It's a window of the same Piye app, in the same download. Open it from Piye Studio in the title bar or from the Code start screen. It stays open when you close the IDE window.

How many agents can work at once?

One per project at a time, across as many projects as you have open in Studio. Each chat shows its own progress, and a message to a busy project waits its turn.

Can it work on a repository I haven't cloned?

When you start a chat you choose where it runs: This Mac, or a repository from GitHub.

Can I bring my Claude Code, Cursor or Codex chats?

Yes. Bring your chats imports them, each into its own project, and the originals stay where they are.

Which models can Studio use?

The same as Code: Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok and Mistral, on Piye credits or your own API keys, and local models through Ollama. Pick the model and effort per chat, or leave it on the default.

Do my projects leave my computer?

Your projects, chats and keys stay on your computer. When the agent works, the request to the AI model goes out: through Piye Cloud, or straight to the maker on your own key.
