Your own agents, in Piye
If you use Claude Code (Anthropic) or Codex (OpenAI), you can run them in Piye's chat, beside Piye's own agent. They run on this computer, with your own sign-in; Piye never holds it, and their use is billed by their makers, not in Piye credits.
Set them up
Open the account menu (top right) with a project open: Claude Code and Codex show there, with whether they're installed. Settings, Integrations, Outside agents has the same, with more detail:
- If one isn't installed, Piye shows the command to install it. Run it in a terminal.
- Sign in with your own account in the terminal (for example your Claude account, or ChatGPT or an API key for Codex), then press Check again.
- The connector that links them to Piye downloads on first use.
Piye shows how each is signed in, for example "Signed in with your Claude account", "Signed in with ChatGPT" or "Signed in with an API key".
Note
Their makers' terms apply. For example, Anthropic's terms say a Claude plan's sign-in is for Claude Code and Claude.ai only. Piye links to each maker's terms in Settings.
What they can do in Piye
Outside agents work with Piye's standard IDE tools: files, the terminal, the editor and the chat. Piye's full set of tools (previews, phones, deploy, Operations and the rest) is for Piye's own agent on Piye credits.
Bring their chats
To continue a conversation you started in Claude Code, Cursor or Codex with Piye's agent, use Bring your chats (on the Code start screen, in Piye Studio, or in Settings, Handoff). See Piye Studio.
