Add a page
Ask in the chat: "add an About page with our story and the team", "add a FAQ page linked from the footer". Piye makes the page, links it where it belongs and matches it to your design.
You can also add a page from the website's Pages inspector (below): type its address, such as about-us, and Piye creates it.
Move between pages in the preview
Click your app's own links and menus in the Preview, the way a visitor would. With Visual Edit on, switch to Browse to move around, then back to Edit to change the page you reached. Pages behind sign-in open too: Visual Edit signs in with the demo account.
Titles and descriptions for search
Every page has two short texts that people see before they visit:
- Title: shown in the browser tab and as the headline in search results.
- Description: one or two sentences under the title in search results and in link previews on social media and messaging apps.
To set them, click the website on the Blueprint and open Pages in its inspector. Each page is listed with its title and description, ready to edit.
Tip
Keep titles under 60 characters and descriptions under 160, and make each page's different. In the Pages inspector, Piye can write them for every page at once and add a sitemap (the list search engines use to find your pages) if your website has none.
Remove a page
Ask in the chat ("remove the Blog page and its link in the menu"). Piye removes the page and the links that pointed to it, and you can undo it from History.
