Do I own what Piye builds?
Yes. Your app is a normal project folder on your computer, and it runs on your own accounts when you publish. Piye doesn't hold it, and you can open it with any developer tools.
Is it real code, or a template?
Real code, written for your app: the same kind of project a developer would build, using widely used technology (Next.js for websites, Expo or Swift and Kotlin for phone apps). A developer can open it in Piye's Code side or in their own tools.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe, look and click. When something technical is needed, like connecting your payments, Piye explains it in plain words and walks you through each step.
How long does a build take?
On Fast, a whole app usually takes about 4 to 8 minutes. Bigger apps, or Auto and Customize, can take longer. Changes are usually quicker. You can keep working, and tell Piye things while it builds.
What does it cost?
Piye's features are free on every plan. Building uses AI, paid with credits: Starter gives 750 credits once to try everything, and Pro is €25 + VAT a month. Each build and change shows the credits it used. See Plans and pricing.
Publishing has its own costs, paid to those companies: your host (many have free plans to start), your domain, and the App Store ($99 a year) and Google Play (US$25 once) if you publish phone apps.
Where is my app hosted?
On a host you choose, on your own account: Vercel by default, or Cloudflare Pages, Railway or Hostinger. Piye publishes it there for you. Your live database is made by Piye at no cost, and you can move it to your own account whenever you like.
Can my website be in several languages?
Yes. Choose the main language and more languages when you create the project (see New project options), or ask for them later in the chat.
Can I change the design completely?
Yes. Ask in the chat ("make it feel calm and premium, like a hotel brand"), give Piye a design link or a site you like, change the theme in the website's inspector, or edit any part directly with Visual Edit.
Can I go back if I don't like a change?
Always. Every change is saved as a step in the Timeline, and you can undo any step.
What if Piye gets something wrong?
Tell it, in your own words, in the chat, or use Fix Errors and let Piye check the whole app. Piye also checks every screen after each build and fixes what's broken before you look. For a problem with Piye itself, contact support.
Can a developer help me later?
Yes, at any time, with Handoff. They get your project and a written brief, and their work comes back to you.
Does it work without the internet?
You can open your projects, browse them and use the preview without the internet. Building and changing with AI, publishing and signing in need a connection.
